... You're sick.

As the old saying goes: feed a cold, stuff a fever. Or something like that.
Being sick is THE WORST, but there is one upside to all the sniffling, sneezing, aching, and coughing. Calories consumed when you're sick or recovering are immediately used up by your body as it works to repair itself and get you back into fighting form. While this might not sound especially exciting when you're lying in bed surrounded by Nyquil and tissues, when you finally do get your appetite back you'll be glad that eating anything and everything is necessary for your health. You've burned so many calories trying to get better (and whining about how bad you feel) that as soon as you feel well enough to eat, it's imperative that you do. Doctor's orders!
