... You're standing.


Two scientific principles are at work here. First, gravity is forcing the calories you consume down towards the ground and out of your body through your feet. Second, standing and walking require huge amounts of calories and immediately burn up any calories that don't slip out do to gravity. Standing is therefore a negative calorie exercise. If you're not eating, you could be in danger. Remember to keep a granola bar handy at all times in case your are forced out of your seated position!
