... They're frozen (or extremely cold).

So much gelato, so few calories.

As you have probably come to realize from previous CDCI posts, calories are fickle creatures. Not only do they disappear above 10,000 ft (see earlier post), they also explode when frozen or extremely cold. As any good nutritional scientist knows, when calories explode they loose all potency and cease to count towards your calorie total. For this reason, all ice creams, popsicles, frozen candy bars, and other frozen foods containing exploded calories are actually calorie free!
